Summer tends to go hand in hand with inflated gas prices. To no surprise, it happened again this year. Although I still miss the days when gas was around $1.25, I’m just happy that gas is staying below $3.00 in my state this summer. To be honest, I did get a bit jealous when I learned that people in Baton Rouge, where the gas is the cheapest in the country, are only paying $2.21. Below is a list of where your state falls on that list, according to daily updates from Gasbuddy.com, beginning with the least expensive. If you live close to a state with lower gas prices, it might be worth a trip over the border.
Hopefully you already read your state’s name. If not, hopefully you’ll see it soon. Here’s a list of the remaining states, plus D.C.
There you have it. These prices will continue to rise, so if you have the opportunity to purchase a new car, you may want to consider going electric to save money.
