Most Unimpressive Celebrity Cars
By: Good2GoPublished: May 9, 2018
Celebrities- they’re just like us! Besides the whole rich and famous thing, we have more in common with them than most people believe. They put their pants on one leg at a time and do some generally unimpressive things. You might think all celebrities drive absurdly expensive cars, but that’s actually far from the truth. Although they could afford a number of luxury cars, sometimes it’s nice to be normal. Here are a few examples of celebrities who drive some pretty underwhelming cars.
Leonardo DiCaprio and his Prius
Leo stole our hearts on screen as Jack in Titanic, and now he’s sweeping us off our feet off-screen by helping orphaned children and protecting the environment. One year, he was even spotted driving his eco-friendly ride to the Academy Awards.
Colin Farrell and his Ford Bronco
Irish actor Farrell is too busy getting trapped inside phone booths to buy luxury cars. Kind of like Farrell’s acting career, the Ford Bronco has faded into obscurity. The last one was reportedly made in 1996, which is the same year as the model Farrell owns.
Ronda Rousey and her Honda Accord
Mixed martial arts fighter Ronda Rousey was the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in Judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. After Beijing, she fell onto hard times and actually lived out of her 2005 Accord for a while. Since then, her family sold the Accord “as-is”, meaning it came with a ton of Rousey’s memorabilia.
Conan O’Brien and his Ford Taurus
It’s hard for people to part with items to which they have become attached. Most people would be lying if they didn’t own something purely for the sentimental value. Conan O’Brien, comedian and popular TV show host, happens to be attached to his metallic green 1992 Ford Taurus SHO. In fact, it’s the same car he drove when “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” launched in 1993.
Adele and her Mini Cooper
With a brand new Mini Cooper costing upwards of $20,000, it would be considered a luxury car to many of us. But Adele has won 15 Grammy Awards, 18 Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards and even an Academy Award. It’s safe to say she doesn’t have to monitor her budget too closely.
